A striking sales trend of 2020 is that the power in the B2B customer journey is increasingly shifting to the buyer. The orientation phase in the purchasing process in particular is increasingly taking place online. Thanks to all kinds of digital information sources, buyers are often already very well informed.

This requires other additional sales skills where you can network using LinkedIn, among other things. We call that social networking. Yet, strangely enough, this does not yet play a sufficiently important role in the sales process for many B2B companies. Because with social networking you can respond well to the needs of customers and also build their trust.
