Description
About this training
Managing millennials is difficult. How do you allow millennials to flourish within your organization, how do you ensure that they do not leave quickly and how do you deal with generational differences? You will learn this in this leadership training with Kenneth Smit.
Millennials are the generation born between 1980 and 2000. They have many qualities: they are young, energetic, often ambitious and they learn quickly. They also understand new technology like no other and are skilled with social media. They are therefore sought after employees, but managing millennials is difficult. They find meaning important, want to be seen and heard, work very differently from older generations and they change jobs quickly. They find freedom and time for themselves very important, they are 'happy holics' and not 'workaholics'. In this 1-day training you will learn more about millennials.
What characterizes them and what are they looking for in their work? You will learn how to lead millennials. How can you keep them satisfied and perform optimally? What does it require of you as a manager and of the organization? We also discuss the differences between millennials and older generations. You will learn how, as a manager, you can ensure that both groups can work well together.
